That guide on Polymock on Guildwiki seems nice. I never read it when I beat it 3 times.
Yes, first skill used by any enemy is Glyph of Concentration.
I use my most powerful skill right off the bat (2 second casting). By the time I'm done, the enemy will try to interupt me, but about .25 seconds (guessing) too late. My spell is off and he just wasted an interupt.
I never found any golds, never bought a gold and even though I beat it with my monk then transfered the given gold to my rit, my rit nevered needed to use it at all.
I find that dodge and blocking only 1 specific spell is key. Never use hexes on a monk.
I still have no other gold except the one I won for beating the tournament, so I can't help you with what golds are good.

Gold Polymock pieces help
I am trying to decide which one I should buy.
Could you please give me some suggestions which one and if possible
what you think would be the expected expense?
Thank you.

i have always liked the naga shaman the best. I bought it for around 15k, most good gold pieces go for around that price.

Buying Polmock pieces is a waste of money, it is relativley easy to complete all the Polymock quests with the pieces you are given.

It is entirely possible to beat each of the quests with white and purple pieces... Is there one in particular you are having trouble with?

Like others have said, you can beat Polymock pretty easily without buying anything extra.
However if you must buy one, I would recommend the Naga Shaman. Got this in a drop, and been cleaning house with it.

And have a decent ping.
With a ping of 200-500 you should be able to beat the first 3 without needing to buy pieces, which as far as I can tell, aren't all that common.

i bought a gold piece
but nobody really plays it
if you get a gold piece from a dungeon you'd be lucky to find a buyer
when i finished i had the mirage iboga wich i couldn't get sold
all poly's i won ended up in my trashcan, just deleted them
i won all games with a mursaat piece wich rly rocked :P

I had an extremely difficult time with polymock until I bought Gold pieces. I bought Stone Rain, Ruby Jin and Mirage Ibogia.
At first I bought Mirage and was able to beat Plurgg, I had trouble and bought Ruby, got past trouble. Finally on the last one, sandstorm was wiping me out no matter what build I used, so I bought Stone Rain and breezed through sandstorm.
With my lag, I decided it was far better to spend some virtual cash instead of going crazy trying to defeat them. I wish I could get my Ruby Jin and Stone Rain back to use with another character, but they are lost forever when u register them.

wow polymock is nasty
ok if there are hundreds of posts like this I would not be surprised... anyhow got the first two fellows beat and now I am trying to get blarp but his earth ele is just killing me... so far I have gotten all down to the last one with only 1/4 health, but then I get killed. Oh well I am trying to see if I can buy a gold polymock piece but not having much success. So is it me or is this quest insanely hard?

It's not all that difficult with the normal pieces, just learn to save your interrupts for the right time and when to block, and how to dodge projectiles.
Or go ahead and waste 20k on something you'll never use again.
